Job Description

1. Operational Tasks

i) Intake Process:

• Assigning all Received cases referred via intake email from all our partners and PSTIC Helpline

and to suitable teams

• Responsible for Following up on timely assignments and maintain quick action to ensure

cases are not missed

• Responding to all inquiries from sources/workers pertaining to cases/unreachable

cases/tracing/sending updates to the source. etc.

• Preparing and maintaining daily updates on intake tracker

• Entering cases history in PSTIC Helpline/Housing Case log. - Intake tracker


• Verifying correct POC data &entering housing monthly case assistance on RAIS for Help-

line/Housing cases.


• Maintaining Housing case assignments log. updated

ii) Maintaining Databases by:

• Maintain case log for history of cases

• Store all referrals in PSTIC Master Files

• Maintain monthly Master List online

• Maintain an updated teams’ distribution list online

iii) Generating Reports as follow:

• Prepare monthly CP lists and submit to PM

• Upload monthly reports and monthly statistics for Cairo & Alex to Activity Info portal at

UNHCR after reviewing the data with the PM & getting confirmation on it /Respond to any

related requests.

• Following up with PSS TLs to correct monthly reports data and update colleagues to produce

final reports.

• Storing data and review of the online aggregation filled by Team Leaders/PSWs

• Correct Monthly Reports shared with Project officer and Finance program Officer


2. Administrative Part:


• Acting as Focal Point for the Program team in PSTIC program and other Departments

• Organizing Weekly Meetings with the PSS team, to schedules, organize logistical part for

venue, food etc.

• Supporting the teams with any challenges face them

• Responsible for following up on Emails Accounts of (Intake, Processing and Master list


3. Any other Duties

• Support in translating if needed

• Undertake all other duties that may be determined by PSTIC Program Manager and that are

compatible with the job


 Job Requirements

Education / Qualifications : University degree in a related field.

Experience: From 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably with INGOs


Languages: • Excellent oral, writing, and editorial skills in English and Arabic

Knowledges and skills: • Excellent command of MS Word applications.

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and cope with competing demands

under tight deadlines.

• Ability to be proactive and work with minimal supervision.

• Outstanding ability to listen; willing to learn from others.


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, culturally sensi-

tive and adaptable.


• Ability to work under stress in general, and in emergency situations 

• Exemplary attention to details.

• Transparency and accountability.

Skills and Knowledge required to work safely with children and vulnerable people:

• Knowledge on child protection, gender, and diversity.

• Work experience in child protection prevention and response, and

participatory child-friendly approaches.

• Effective communication and engagement skills with children, young

people, and families

• Behavioural management
